Jaco is the perfect destination for surfing lessons for beginners.

At Izu’s surf school you will already be catching waves in the first lesson.

A lesson lasts an hour and a half to two hours, with a Hebrew/English speaking professional instructor, depending on who is available and up to 3 students per instructor.

The lesson takes place in the southern part of the beach of Jaco, where the waves are softer and gentler.

The hours vary from day to day according to the tides.

For intermediate / advanced surfers, we also offer all-inclusive packages including accommodation, meals and lessons.

Jaco is the most developed beach town in Costa Rica.

The town is very convenient for surfers because the access to it is very convenient – it is only about an hour and a half drive from the airport in San Jose, it has all the facilities required for a trip such as different ratings hotels, restaurants and many other natural attractions beyond surfing.
The beach in Jaco is perfect for surfing lessons for beginners and advanced.
Many children and adults take advantage of their stay for this purpose.
The field of surfing is very developed in Jaco and you can find surfing schools and various shops that sell and rent surfing equipment. Even experienced surfers come to Jaco and stay for a long time, because within a very short driving distance there are great beaches for professional surfers, such as Hermosa Beach, which is only a 5-minute drive away and has tubes and a beach break for professionals only.
We can also arrange transportation for you to the dreamy Escondida beach (which can only be reached by boat) with the Scarlet boat.
